Kimono Chronicles {Part VI}

By Yvonne Waluvengo - July 10, 2015

One reason why I'm obsessed with Kate Moss?

She's Kate Moss.

Enough Said.

It's a wrap you guys! I'm happy to inform you that this post marks the end of "Kimono Chronicles!" Yay!
I had lots of fun playing dress up, creating different ensembles and basically utilizing pieces in my closet. I'm looking forward to working on another blog series in the future, really enjoyed myself doing this.
I hope all you pretty ladies concur with the statement, "the kimono is a versatile piece and a must-have item in your wardrobe."

Look Six: Fun In The Sun

Today's look is inspired by a super model, famous for her unique beauty, effortless style and chick-rock allure, yes, it's non other than *cue the drumrolls* KATE MOSS!!!
I was recently drooling over Kate's pictures on the internet and only stopped when Safaricom sent me that annoying cute little message we Kenyans are all too familiar with, notifying me that my data bundle is below 2MB haha!
Anyway, I happen to come across a picture of Kate wearing an animal print bikini and floral kimono and instantly fell in love with the look, so much so, I decided to recreate it.

As you can see, the kimono serves beautifully as a cover up, you can throw it on when taking a break from swimming to grab lunch or just lounge next to the pool reading a book or magazine.
Next time you're planning to hit the beach or the pool like myself, don't forget to carry your kimono! :-)

Thank you so much for reading! Have an awesome weekend!

Love & Light
