Books I Read

By Yvonne Waluvengo - January 13, 2013

The author must be a famous writer
I always judge it from its cover
I start reading from the last chapter
I fall-in-love with the wicked character

The villain...

He keeps the story twisted and turned
He is responsible for pages I have turned
He makes a book hard-to-put-down

So much
I want to read from dawn to dusk

I adore interesting tales
Those that get me engrossed
From end to beginning

Those that make me wish
The introduction and preface were longer

It's like death at birth
I hate to part with a book
A book I have read
From end to beginning

At the back of my mind
I know a time will come
I will fail to remember

Some of the events that occurred
The lines that made me laugh
The names of people and places
The exact words on each and every page

A time will come
I shall read it again
But the feeling won't be the  same
